This 1-day course is designed as a follow-on from the Day 1 Introduction Course.  This is a hands-on practical course using PowerBI Desktop.  You will begin by exploring connections to Power BI and transforming your data in the PowerQuery Editor.  You will learn how to Cleanse Data using a variety of Transform Tools and also how to merge/append and pivot your data.  Users will gain an understanding of using Errors and how to manage and fix an error.  You will also learn some DAX expressions and using Logical and Date Functions.

This course will cover a variety of Visuals such as composition, comparison and correlation charts, along with Cards, Slicers, Matrix & Tables and Gauge.  Learn how to conditionally format and filter the Visuals and understand how the Visuals Interact with each other.  This course concentrates on the PowerBI Desktop – we will not cover managing Dashboards in the Power BI Service but you will learn how to publish your report.
