CIF Training, in partnership with Industry Training Services (ITS), has expanded its health and safety training portfolio with the introduction of four new specialist programmes designed to support safer working practices across the construction, utilities and industrial sectors.
The new courses focus on some of the highest-risk activities carried out on site, including mobile elevated work platform operation, working at height and confined space entry. Each programme has been developed to provide practical skills, safety awareness and industry-relevant knowledge that can be applied immediately in the workplace.
Strengthening Safety and Workforce Competence
As construction projects become increasingly complex, employers face growing responsibilities to ensure workers are properly trained and competent to carry out safety-critical tasks.
Working at height and confined space activities continue to present significant risks on construction sites. Proper training is essential to help workers identify hazards, follow safe systems of work and reduce the likelihood of incidents.
The addition of these four programmes provides employers with access to training that supports compliance, improves workforce competence and contributes to a stronger safety culture.
