The CIF Management & Inspection of Scaffolding training programme is an original programme developed by the CIF Learning & Development Department and delivered by leading expert Richard O’Mahony in this issue in Ireland. The course is aimed at those who are responsible for scaffolding, either in a management or supervisory role. This can include site agents, site managers, site foremen, safety managers or other contractors.
The CIF Management and Inspection of Scaffolding training programme provides the necessary up skilling required to update designated responsible person within construction companies on how to carry out the inspections/fault finding on scaffolding systems on site. The course details all the various components, the issues that arise around the safe management of scaffolding and how to handle any problems that may arise. Over the duration of the one day programme, participants receive detailed understanding of the H.S.A Code of Practice that currently provides guidance and the need for the weekly use of the approved GA3 form – a key document in the inspection of scaffolding.
Scaffolding on site needs to be inspected once a week and this course equips those responsible persons for these inspections with the legislative understanding and insight needed to carry out this vital task in a safe and thorough manner.
This is a 1 Day Programme delivered via Zoom with online assessment in the afternoon.
