This course is designed to assist site management, commercial managers, project managers and quantity surveyors teams in creating effective Scaffold Plans, in accordance with Chapter 2 of the current Code of Practice for Access and Working Scaffolds.
Participants will receive an overview of the various system scaffolds currently used in Ireland, including how to select the appropriate system for specific project requirements. The course will cover key considerations when choosing to use Tube and Fitting scaffolding, and guide attendees through the development of a comprehensive Scaffold Policy. Emphasis will be placed on creating site-specific Scaffold Plans, utilizing both PowerPoint presentations and group activities where delegates will develop scaffold plans for various project scenarios. Additionally, participants will learn to determine when a site-specific scaffold design is necessary and how to select the correct system scaffold for a given project. The course will also cover the development of a detailed Scaffold Brief through a combination of presentations and group exercises.

His commitment to safety is evident in his rigorous approach to training and education, ensuring that all personnel involved in scaffolding work are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
