The CIF Practical Approach to Management and Inspection of Scaffolding is a blended approach to the classroom-based Management & Inspection of Scaffolding Course. Delivered over one day consisting of theory in the morning and a site scaffold inspection in the afternoon.

This is a 1 Day course delivered on your company’s site from 09.00hrs – 17.00hrs with a maximum of 12 participants.

The objective of this course is that all attendees can form an opinion on the structural stability and safety of scaffolding. Delegates will also be authorised to sign off on the weekly GA 3 form as per the requirements of the Code of Practice.

The course provides the necessary up skilling required to update designated responsible person within construction companies on how to carry out the inspections/fault finding on scaffolding systems on site.  The course details all the various components, the issues that arise around the safe management of scaffolding and how to handle any problems that may arise. Over the duration of the one-day programme, participants receive detailed understanding of the H.S.A Code of Practice that currently provides guidance and the need for the weekly use of the approved GA3 form – a key document in the inspection of scaffolding.
