The Assured Certificate in Construction Site Supervision: Safety, Environmental & Building Regulations is a comprehensive professional development pathway for site supervisors, foremen and site managers.
The five day programme is delivered over three weeks and delegates must attend all programme dates as scheduled.
This programme has been developed to support construction professionals in strengthening their knowledge of:
- Site safety management and supervision
- Building regulations and compliance
- Environmental management and sustainability
- Site leadership and regulatory responsibilities
- Best practice construction site operations
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this programme, participants will be able to:
- Understand the key legal duties and responsibilities of a Construction Site Supervisor.
- Implement effective health and safety management practices on construction sites.
- Identify, assess and control common construction hazards and risks.
- Promote safe working practices and a positive safety culture among site personnel.
- Understand the requirements of the Building Control Regulations and their practical application on site.
- Recognise the roles and responsibilities associated with building regulatory compliance.
- Apply environmental best practice in relation to resource management, pollution prevention and sustainability.
- Manage soil, stone, waste and by-products in accordance with environmental legislation.
- Identify environmental risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded:
- Assured Certificate in Construction Site Supervision: Safety, Environmental & Building Regulations
- CIF Red Site Supervisor Safety Card (valid for 3 years)
- 35 CPD Points
Attendance Requirements
Participants are required to attend all five training days of the programme.
Full attendance, together with successful completion of all assessments, is mandatory for the award of the Assured Certificate in Construction Site Supervision: Safety, Environmental & Building Regulations and the CIF Red Site Supervisor Safety Card.
