Core Safety Management Renewal Programme
The Core Safety Management Renewal half day Programme is designed to allow our members renew one or all three programmes completed from our range of Core Safety programmes namely the CIF IOSH Managing Safely in Construction, the IOSH Managing the Role of the PSDP and the QQI Level 6 Managing the Role of the PSCS.
The key benefit of completing this programme is to provide an up to date picture of the key core roles from a legislative prospective. The learner will be provided with legal case studies, legislation updates, construction safety statistics and a broad overview of the key changes since they last completed the programmes above.
We now also offer this programme via our Elearning portal for the convenience of our members.
Site Supervisor Safety
The Site Supervisor Safety 2 day programme was designed as the initial point of entry to access key information for those who are currently site supervisors /foreman or those about to be appointed to such roles.
The benefit of the programme is to broadly explain what the role is expected to know about safety on site while providing enough detail for the learners to gain a good grasp of the implementation of the key aspects of safety on site. The learner is introduced to risk assessment and method statement formats which are common place site documents to fully explain the importance of these documents and how the site supervisor/foreman is pivotal in bring the safety message to his team on site.
Managing Safely in Construction
The CIF IOSH Managing Safely in Construction five day programme is the next level up from our SSSP programme in that it provides accredited certification recognised internationally.
The programme also provides successful learners with the coveted CIF Safety Management card which is valued by employers and construction clients as the gold standard for site safety management within the Irish construction sector. This programme provides the learner with a detail view over a wide range of safety topics delivered by safety and sectorial experts bring home the essential need for quality safety systems and management on site.
Project Supervisor Construction Stage
The CIF QQI level 6 Special Purpose award three day programme Managing the Role of the Project Supervisor Construction Stage, was designed by CIF Learning & Development to meet the needs of small, medium and larger contractors who engage with this legal duty holder role on a daily basis.
This hands on and practical programme is designed to provide the learner with the tools to undertake the role on site, while obtaining a deep understanding of the legal implications while providing access to key aspects of the practical delivery of this legal duty holder on site.
Project Supervisor Design Process
The CIF IOSH Managing the Role of the PSDP two day programme covers the co-ordination of design on construction sites. Everyone from contractors, owner operators, engineers and architects have looked to enhance their qualifications by signing up to the CIF’s Project Supervisor Design Process programme
The course offers a different approach to training delivery. The Project Supervisor Design Process is delivered over two days and it is fulfilled through continuous assessment.
